  1. EDIT  -  edit the current message

  3. Usage: EDIT

  5. The EDIT command, in READ MODE, edits the message you have just read.
  6.   The editor used is defined with SET EDITOR; the default is emacs.  
  7.   The main purpose of editing received mail is to save only part of a 
  8.   long message, or to fix a typo.
  9.
